WEEK 3 — Jesus Our Saviour

Session 3.1 — God Loved the World
Read: John 3:16
In John 3:16, we learn that God sent His only Son, Jesus, to die for us because of His great love for the world. God’s love is so vast that He gave His Son to save us from sin and eternal separation from Him. To believe in Jesus means to trust Him as our Savior and accept the gift of eternal life He offers. God promises that whoever believes in Jesus will not perish but have everlasting life. Today, let’s thank Jesus for our salvation, recognizing His incredible love for us.

Session 3.2 — Christ Died for Us
Read: Romans 5:8
Romans 5:8 reminds us that Christ died for us while we were still sinners. This shows the depth of God’s love—He didn’t wait for us to be good enough, but He loved us even in our sin. Jesus’ sacrifice reveals God’s mercy, grace, and love. Our response should be gratitude and a desire to live for Him, acknowledging that His death was the price for our forgiveness. Today, let’s tell God “thank you” for His love, offering our hearts in response to His amazing grace.

Session 3.3 — Jesus Is the Only Way
Read: John 14:6
In John 14:6, Jesus declares that He is the way, the truth, and the life, and that no one can come to the Father except through Him. Jesus is unique because He is the only one who can bridge the gap between God and humanity. Trusting Jesus alone is the only way to salvation because He is the perfect Savior who paid the price for our sins. Today, let’s say Jesus’ name in prayer, acknowledging that He is the only way to eternal life.

Session 3.4 — Jesus Rose Again
Read: 1 Corinthians 15:3–4
In 1 Corinthians 15:3–4, Paul emphasizes the importance of the resurrection of Jesus. After Jesus died for our sins, He rose from the dead, conquering death and offering us new life. The resurrection is the foundation of our faith because it proves that Jesus is who He claimed to be and that He has power over death. It gives us hope that, just as Jesus was raised, we too will have eternal life. Today, let’s praise Jesus for being alive, celebrating the victory over death and sin that He secured for us.

Session 3.5 — Jesus Saves Completely
Read: Hebrews 7:25
Hebrews 7:25 assures us that Jesus is always able to save completely those who come to God through Him. Jesus intercedes for us, and His salvation is full, perfect, and eternal. No matter what we’ve done, Jesus is always able to save us completely because of His sacrifice on the cross. This gives us confidence, knowing that we can always come to Jesus for forgiveness and help. Today, let’s trust Jesus with a worry, knowing that He is able to save and keep us secure in His love.
