Plan Your Visit

I have questions about God

The Bible gives clear answers about God, sin, salvation, eternal life, and why Jesus Christ came.

How to Know God

I want to listen first

Hear Bible messages and get a feel for the Bible-centred teaching at Forest City Baptist Church.

Listen First

What to expect

Visiting a church for the first time can feel like a big step. We want you to feel welcome, prepared, and comfortable when you arrive.

Clear Bible preaching

The Bible is central in our services. You can expect sound preaching and teaching from the Word of God.

God-honouring music

Our services include heart-warming, conservative music intended to help us worship and respond to God.

Children and nursery

Junior Church is available during the Sunday morning worship service, and nursery is available Sunday morning.

No pressure to give

Guests are not expected to give money. We are supported by the tithes and offerings of our church family.

What should I wear?

There is no exact dress code beyond modesty. Many members dress up, but guests should not feel anxious about clothing.

How long is the service?

A normal Sunday worship service typically lasts about 1 hour and 10 minutes.

First time visiting? Come expecting a warm welcome, clear Bible teaching, and people who are glad you came.

How can I know God?

The most important question is not merely, “Do I attend church?” The greatest question is, “Do I know the Lord Jesus Christ as my Saviour?”

The Bible gives a clear answer

God created you, knows you, and loves you. But sin has separated us from God. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died for our sins and rose again. Salvation is not earned by good works; it is received by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Our need: “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” — Romans 3:23
God’s love: “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8
God’s promise: “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” — Romans 10:13
