Session 10.1 — Our Help Comes From the Lord
Read: Psalm 121:1–2
In Psalm 121:1-2, the psalmist declares that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. God is our ultimate source of help, and we can trust Him to provide guidance, strength, and protection in all circumstances. Knowing that God is our helper brings comfort because He is all-powerful, faithful, and loving. Today, let’s ask God for help with one specific need, trusting that He will care for us and lead us in the right direction.
Session 10.2 — Do Not Fear
Read: Isaiah 41:10
Isaiah 41:10 tells us that God commands us not to fear, and He promises to be with us, strengthen us, and uphold us. God’s presence removes fear because we know that He is in control and will protect and guide us through any situation. When we trust in God’s promises, fear loses its power over us. Today, let’s give one fear to God in prayer, trusting that His presence will bring peace and confidence to our hearts.
Session 10.3 — Peaceful Rest
Read: Psalm 4:8
In Psalm 4:8, the psalmist says, “I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.” We can lie down in peace because we trust that God is watching over us and keeping us safe. God’s protection brings us the ability to rest, free from anxiety and worry. When we trust in God, we can find restful sleep knowing He is in control. Today, let’s thank God before bedtime, acknowledging His care and protection over us.
Session 10.4 — God’s Care for Every Detail
Read: Matthew 10:29–31
In Matthew 10:29-31, Jesus reminds us that God cares for even the smallest details of our lives, like the sparrows, and we are far more valuable to Him. God’s care for us is complete and personal; He knows every part of our lives and is concerned with our well-being. This truth should deepen our trust in God because He is intimately involved in every aspect of our lives. Today, let’s trust God with something small, knowing that He cares deeply for every detail of our lives.
Session 10.5 — The Lord Our Refuge
Read: Nahum 1:7
Nahum 1:7 declares that the Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble, and He knows those who take refuge in Him. God is a safe place where we can run for protection, peace, and strength. Whenever we feel worried, we can trust that God is our refuge, offering us His care and shelter. Today, let’s pray to God when we feel worried, seeking His comfort and security, knowing that He is our safe place.
