Session 27.1 — Nothing Too Hard for God
Read: Jeremiah 32:17
In Jeremiah 32:17, we are reminded that nothing is too hard for God. He is all-powerful, and His ability to accomplish anything is beyond our comprehension. God’s power is limitless, and no situation is beyond His control. This knowledge encourages us to pray boldly, knowing that God is able to handle any difficulty, no matter how impossible it may seem. Today, let’s pray to God about something that seems hard, trusting that He is more than capable of overcoming any obstacle.
Session 27.2 — God’s Power in Creation
Read: Psalm 147:5
Psalm 147:5 describes God’s understanding as infinite and His power beyond measure. God’s greatness is evident in the creation of the universe and the natural world, which He created with perfect wisdom and power. His immense power and perfect understanding teach us that He is capable of handling everything in our lives. Because of His greatness, we can trust in His ability to take care of us. Today, let’s praise God for His great power, knowing that He is in control of everything.
Session 27.3 — Power to Save
Read: Romans 1:16
Romans 1:16 calls the gospel “the power of God for salvation.” God’s power is at work in the gospel, bringing salvation to everyone who believes. The power of God is necessary for salvation because it is only through His strength and grace that we are saved from sin and death. We should be deeply thankful for the gospel, as it is through this powerful message that we receive eternal life. Today, let’s thank God for His saving power and rejoice in the salvation He offers.
Session 27.4 — God Strengthens the Weak
Read: Isaiah 40:29
Isaiah 40:29 reminds us that God gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. In times when we feel powerless or exhausted, we can rely on God’s strength. We need God’s strength because, on our own, we are limited, but with His power, we can endure and overcome any challenge. Today, let’s ask God for strength, trusting that He will empower us to handle whatever comes our way.
Session 27.5 — Power Made Perfect in Weakness
Read: 2 Corinthians 12:9
In 2 Corinthians 12:9, God tells Paul that His grace is sufficient and His power is made perfect in weakness. When we are weak, God’s power is more evident because we are fully dependent on Him. It is in our weakness that God’s strength is revealed. Dependence on God allows us to experience His power in a deeper way. Today, let’s tell God we depend on His strength, knowing that He is our source of power in all circumstances.
