Session 23.2 — Trust God, Not Yourself

Leaning on our own understanding often leads to confusion or missteps, but when we acknowledge God in all our ways, He directs our decisions and actions. Today, let’s trust God with a decision we need to make, acknowledging His guidance and trusting that He will lead us on the right path.
Session 23.3 — Gentle Answers

Proverbs 15:1 reminds us that a gentle answer turns away wrath, while harsh words stir up anger. Our words have the power to either calm or escalate situations. Speaking gently can bring peace and resolve conflict, while harsh words can hurt others and create division. Choosing to speak gently is an important way to show love, respect, and wisdom. Today, let’s use gentle words, seeking to be peacemakers in our conversations and interactions.
Session 23.4 — Guard Your Heart

Proverbs 4:23 emphasizes the importance of guarding our hearts because they are the wellspring of life. Our thoughts, desires, and emotions flow from our hearts, and what we allow to enter our hearts shapes our actions and decisions. Guarding our hearts means protecting our minds from negative influences, sinful thoughts, and unhealthy desires. Today, let’s think about good and right things, focusing on things that honor God and help us grow in righteousness.
Session 23.5 — The Path of the Righteous
Read: Proverbs 4:18
Proverbs 4:18 describes the path of the righteous as shining ever brighter, leading to greater understanding and clarity. As we grow in righteousness, God illuminates our path, helping us see more clearly the way He desires us to go. The more we walk in His ways, the brighter our path becomes, and the more wisdom we gain. Growing in righteousness enables us to navigate life with greater clarity and purpose. Today, let’s thank God for helping us grow in righteousness, knowing that He is guiding us to live in ways that reflect His truth.
