Session 22.3 — Departing From Evil

Session 22.4 — God Takes Pleasure in Those Who Fear Him

Psalm 147:11 tells us that the Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him, who put their hope in His unfailing love. God delights in those who honor Him with reverence and trust, acknowledging His power and goodness. Fearing God means we trust Him with our lives, submitting to His will and living according to His ways. Today, let’s do something to please the Lord, knowing that our reverence and trust bring joy to His heart.
Session 22.5 — Fear Brings Life

In Proverbs 19:23, we learn that the fear of the Lord leads to life and peace. Fearing God brings protection, wisdom, and spiritual peace, guiding us to live in harmony with His will. God promises life because He knows what is best for us and desires our well-being. His protection and peace guard us from harm and lead us to a flourishing life. Today, let’s thank God for His protection and the peace that comes from fearing and trusting Him.
