Expectations

All services listed above are open to the public – we enjoy to see our visitors!
Our building is wheelchair accessible.
The only dress code required is that of modesty (e.g., no shirt, no shoes … no service).
Please place electronic devices on vibrate and refrain from bringing food and drink into the sanctuary (except for bottled water).

In return, our visitors can expect sound Bible preaching, God honouring music, safe and secure children’s ministries, and a caring environment. Even if you would like to come out for just one service to see things for yourself, please consider this your invitation.

What does a worship service look like at Forest City Baptist Church?

Worship is the act of loving and responding to God! Through the heart-warming, conservative music and the clear, Bible teaching and preaching in our services, your heart will be inspired to love and to respond to God. Each week, families are strengthened, encouraged, and drawn closer to Him through these special times together. Each service is carefully planned and prayed over so that God may work in your life!

How long is a Sunday church service?

A normal worship service typically lasts about 1 hour and 10 minutes.

What should I wear?

There is no exact dress code. Most of our members dress up for our services, not to impress anyone, but to honour the Lord Jesus. Our desire for our guests is that they not worry so much about how they are dressed but come expecting an amazing blessing from the Lord.

Am I expected to give an offering?

You will never be asked or expected to give money to our church. We are solely supported by the tithes and offerings of our members.

Is there a nursery?

Yes, nursery is provided for all of our Sunday services.
