Session 13.1 — All God’s Promises Are Sure
Read: 2 Corinthians 1:20
In 2 Corinthians 1:20, Paul reminds us that all of God’s promises are certain and “yes” in Christ. We can trust God’s promises because they are guaranteed through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. Jesus is the fulfillment of God’s promises, and through Him, we know that every promise made by God is assured and will come to pass. Today, let’s thank God for one promise in His Word, knowing that His promises are sure because of Jesus.
Session 13.2 — God Keeps His Word
Read: Joshua 21:45
Joshua 21:45 highlights that God kept every promise He made to Israel. Not one of His promises failed to come true. This shows us that God is faithful to His Word, and we can trust Him completely. God’s character is unchanging, and because He has kept His promises in the past, we can trust that He will continue to do so in our lives. Today, let’s say, “God keeps His promises,” and rest in the assurance that God will always be faithful to us.
Session 13.3 — Hold Fast Your Hope
Read: Hebrews 10:23
Hebrews 10:23 encourages us to hold fast to our hope because God is faithful to His promises. Hope is a powerful anchor for our souls, especially during hard times, because it reminds us that God is true to His Word and that He will fulfill His promises. Our hope in God’s faithfulness keeps us steady, even when circumstances are difficult. Today, let’s tell God we trust Him to keep His promises, relying on His faithfulness to sustain us.
Session 13.4 — God Always Tells the Truth
Read: Numbers 23:19
In Numbers 23:19, we are reminded that God is not like humans—He does not lie or change His mind. God is always truthful, and what He says is always reliable. We can trust everything God says because His Word is perfect and true. Unlike people, God’s promises and commands are steadfast and unchanging. Today, let’s thank God that He never lies, knowing that His truth is the foundation of all our hope.
Session 13.5 — The Lord Is Faithful
Read: Psalm 145:13
Psalm 145:13 speaks of God’s faithfulness, which is everlasting and true. Faithfulness means that God is reliable, consistent, and trustworthy, never failing to do what He has promised. God has been faithful to our families in countless ways, providing, protecting, and guiding us through every season. Today, let’s name one way God has been faithful to us and thank Him for His constant care and love.
